Citilawyers is seeking a motivated, focused and experienced lawyer to join this respected practice operating primarily within the Corporate & commercial practice, including: Litigation, Insolvency, Commercial Contracts, Building and Property, Intellectual Property, Corporations Laws and Criminal Law. The successful candidate will liaise with a variety of clients, from individuals to international commercial enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead on a variety of matters, including strategy development, drafting legal documents, managing evidence, and representing clients through all stages of their legal journey.
- Provide proactive, solution-oriented advice to clients, helping them navigate complex laws and court procedures,
while maintaining the highest professional standards and building strong, lasting relationships.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide junior lawyers and interns, ensuring high-quality work across the litigation team and fostering their professional development.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay ahead of industry trends.
What We Are Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- 3-5 years PQE of experience in commercial litigation.
- Current admission to practice law in NSW.
- Strong interest in court and tribunal advocacy, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- A genuine interest in commercial, corporate, insolvency, building and construction, intellectual property, and criminal law.
- Proven experience in general dispute work, including contract disputes, bankruptcy and insolvency, construction disputes, and corporate matters.
- Exceptional commercial document drafting and communication skills.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- A self-motivated, proactive approach, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- A strong client focus, with the ability to understand and address client needs.
- Flexibility in both work and learning approaches.
- Current work rights in Australia.
