Turosi Pty Ltd is a privately owned Company with facilities in Victoria, QLD and NSW, providing a full range of raw and cooked food solutions across a range of proteins to the retail and food service sectors. We are one of the largest poultry processors in Australia, supplying major brands across QSR/FCD, General Trade & Retail markets.

We are looking to recruit an energetic and motivated Maintenance Supervisor (Hands on) for afternoon shift. This is a weekly paid role which will be based at our Broadmeadows further processing facility in Victoria. Monday to Friday / Tuesday to Saturday, weekend work as required.
Pay rate: $50 to $55
Ordinary hours between: 1 am to 12 am.
The role will provide support to the Engineering Manager and Production team by providing quality and effective maintenance services during planned maintenance, breakdowns and the installation of new plant and equipment.
Experience in the following areas is highly desirable:
- Relevant Mechanical trade qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be hands-on with 3+ years industry experience in a supervisory role
- Thorough understanding of HACCP, GMP and Australian Standards
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
- Proven fault-finding skills and the ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
- Strong commitment to identify and drive continues improvement
- A demonstrated commitment to health and safety
- Ability to drive positive change as well as influence and support all stakeholders
- Forklift license, EWP license (desirable)
- Ability to execute and adhere to Preventative Maintenance programs
- Ability to utilise a computer-based Maintenance management system
- Control costs, scheduling & development of maintenance activities
- Fabrication Skills, MIG, TIG and ARC welding (desirable)
- Lead and be a hand on supervisor to the afternoon team.
The successful candidate will be required to work overtime, and weekends as required. Competitive rates will be available for the right person.
