About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Officer to join our Head Office team at Sydney International Airport. As part of our dynamic Supply Chain team, you’ll play a key role in coordinating purchasing activities for aviation materials and equipment.
This position is critical to ensuring cost-effectiveness, maintaining quality standards, and fostering strong supplier relationships. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to keep operations running smoothly and support the delivery of world-class aviation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source parts and materials, provide accurate quotes.
- Raise purchase orders and manage inbound logistics.
- Track back orders and shortages for base maintenance.
- Maintain supplier records and assist with vendor management.
- Support AOG (Aircraft on Ground) requirements and stocktakes.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and effective communication across departments.
About You:
- Experience in aviation or general purchasing operations.
- Diploma in Purchasing, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with procurement systems.
