Panel Line Team Leader – Dandenong South
ASKIN Performance Panels Group is the largest manufacturer and installer of insulated, fire-rated and architectural facade systems, roofing systems and temperature controlled facilities.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a hands-on and experienced Panel Line Team Leader to support production operations and lead a small team on our manufacturing line. This role is ideal for someone who has machine operation experience and wants to work within a supportive and ambitious business.

About the Role
You will work closely with the Line Supervisor to:
- Operate and assist with setting up the panel production line
- Lead, support and coordinate machine operators on the line
- Monitor product quality and troubleshoot issues
- Assist with loading coils and preparing raw materials for production
- Ensure glue systems and materials are correctly set up and flowing
- Maintain production records and follow work orders
- Support changeovers and end of run clean ups
- Perform basic maintenance tasks and report breakdowns
- Ensure safety compliance and encourage safe work behaviours
- Support continuous improvement and efficient workflow
This role requires someone who is proactive, adaptable, customer focused and able to lead by example.
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
- Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience (Panel/Extrusion preferred)
- Strong understanding of safety and quality requirements
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem solving ability
- Ability to read work orders, complete paperwork and follow procedures
- Excellent communication skills verbal & written
- Team player who enjoys training, coaching and working with others
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
