Join our dynamic Tax and Accounting team as a Payroll Specialist. We’re seeking a detail-oriented professional passionate about delivering exceptional client service. Duties include (but not limited to):
- Conducting onboarding sessions to understand client payroll requirements, award interpretations, and technology stack (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Employment Hero, ADP, Micropay).
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, supported by Payroll Officers.
- Schedule and conduct regular client meetings (monthly and quarterly) to review payroll performance, compliance, and address client needs.
- Monitor and report on client payroll health scores, including accuracy, compliance, and satisfaction metrics.
- Deliver hands-on client training and knowledge transfer sessions on payroll systems and compliance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing in a Public Practice, Professional Services or multi-client environment.
- Ability to manage own practice by accurately recording WIP, billing to target and keeping debtors under control.
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and awards.
- Robust communication and client service skills, including experience in conducting client meetings and reviews.
- Proficient in the use of the payroll software. (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)
