Operations Leader – Carole Park QLD
We're looking for a hands-on leader with a solid commitment to safety, operational excellence and people development to step into the role of Operations Leader at our Carole Park site.
About the Role
This full-time position has overall responsibility for the daily operations of our site, with a strong focus on:
- Safety leadership and compliance.
- Quality control and continuous improvement.
- Manufacturing and production outputs.
- You'll also champion a culture of safety first and customer service excellence.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Lead a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance.
- Oversee daily production schedules.
- Manage labour, equipment and material resources to achieve targets.
- Ensure SOP adherence, quality control and timely reporting.
- Drive collaboration between departments to maximise efficiency.
- Ensure lead times are met, resolve quality issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Lead, develop and retain team members.
- Embed quality into daily operations.
- Contribute to ISO audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Produce and coordinate regular operational and safety reports.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven leadership skills with a practical,
hands-on approach.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience required.
- Strong planning, coordination and organisational skills.
- Background in manufacturing or industrial operations highly desirable, candidates with leadership and process management experience from the automotive or parts manufacturing industry are especially encouraged to apply.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing or industrial operations experience required.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
