Lifestyle Services Assistant - Aged Care
Location: Port Macquarie
Positions Available: 2
Hourly Rate: $35.72 + super
Do you want to make a difference by bringing joy and connection to the lives of older Australians? If you have experience as an Assistant in Nursing or have recently completed a Certificate III in Individual Support or Disability, this is your chance to step into a fun, creative, and caring role.
What's on Offer
Permanent Part-Time positions
Rostered 3 or 4 shifts per week, Monday to Saturday
Shifts: 8:30am - 4:00pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm
Ability to flex up to pick up additional shifts when available
Your New Role
As a Lifestyle Services Assistant, you'll:
- Create and deliver engaging activities that promote social connection and wellbeing
- Support residents to participate in programs that bring meaning and joy
- Work closely with care teams to ensure holistic support
- Communicate warmly with residents, families, and volunteers
- Bring creativity and energy to every day
About You
- Completed Certificate III in Individual Support/Disability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think outside the box and tailor activities to individual needs
- Have current NDISWC or willingness to obtain NDIS Clearance
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (minimum of 1 dose)
- No experience required, full training provided.
