Our Client a Federal government department is seeking an experienced SOE Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a secure, cloud-first end-user computing environment. This is a hands-on technical role with a strong focus on Microsoft Intune, Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC), and modern SOE design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead migration from Ivanti Application Control to WDAC, including policy design and deployment.
- Manage Windows 11 endpoints via Microsoft Intune (compliance, configuration, Autopilot).
- Package and deploy applications using Intune (Win32/MSIX).
- Implement Windows Update for Business policies for feature updates and patch compliance.
- Manage Microsoft Teams-certified devices and smartphones via Intune MDM/MAM.
- Maintain SOE standards and security baselines (BitLocker, ASR, Defender, WDAC).
- What we are Looking for:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Expertise in Microsoft Intune and WDAC policy design.
- Strong background in application packaging and automated deployment.
- PowerShell scripting skills.
