About the Role:
BaptistCare is seeking an Administration Officer to join our team at BaptistCare Albany. In this role, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth daily operations of the Aged Care Facility. Depending on your level, your responsibilities may include general administration, customer service, finance, rostering, records management, and supporting staff and residents. Higher-level positions may involve leading other administrative staff, managing advanced rostering tasks, and overseeing compliance responsibilities.
- First point of contact for incoming calls and visitors
- Manage administrative aspects of resident admissions and discharges, including applications and waitlists
- Process accounts receivable and payable, place purchase orders, and manage office supplies
- Perform general administration tasks, including filing, mail handling, data entry, word processing, minute taking, and photocopying
- Maintain records to meet internal and external reporting requirements
- Liaise with internal stakeholders for travel, accommodation, and catering bookings
- Develop and improve administrative processes
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health policies and BaptistCare’s Code of Conduct
- Actively contribute to continuous quality improvement

About You:
You’re organised, approachable, and thrive in a busy environment. You’ll bring:
- Previous experience in administration or reception
- Ability to interpret Awards and Agreements
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, rostering systems)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
