Your new role:
Join our dedicated team supporting Logan Hospital's medical record scanning unit. In this role you will help ensure the accurate and timely scanning of medical records while supporting integrated electronic medical record (ieMR) systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing operational shift leadership and supervision for the scanning unit staff.
- Leading and managing a scanning team through preparation, scanning, quality control, validation and quality assurance.
- Monitoring daily KPIs to meet productivity, quality and deadline targets.
- Assisting in workflow management, training staff and maintaining scanning equipment and resources.
About you:
We are looking for a proactive and skilled professional who can lead with confidence in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Ideally, you will bring the following qualities and experience:
- Proven leadership and team supervision skills in complex or healthcare settings.
- Experience in training, mentoring and coaching staff in medical records or similar functions.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities to manage workloads and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise across multidisciplinary teams and maintain quality standards.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
