Brightstar Resources (ASX: BTR) owns and operates the Second Fortune and Fish Gold Mines in the Laverton Goldfields region of Western Australia, with projects extending across Laverton, Menzies, and Sandstone. We have an exciting prospect for Underground Mine Foreman to join our dynamic team at our Second Fortune & FISH sites, focused on ramping up the mine operations.
ABOUT US:
Joining a small team on a 8/6 roster, your duties will include:
- Managing the mining sequence including, input into short- and medium-term scheduling to ensure weekly/monthly and quarterly targets are met
- Ensure compliance to WHS Laws, Regs company policies and procedures
- Managing stocks for consumables including explosives
- Setting clear progression and growth strategies with Underground Personnel
- Managing personnel rosters
ABOUT YOU:
- Underground Mine Foreman experience
- Hold a WA Shift Supervisor Certificate of Competency
- Narrow Vien Gold experience, demonstrated mining methods
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite of programmes
- Manual driving licence
- Management and team building
- Understand the working use of current Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
