About the role
Bean n bite cafe' is searching for an experienced and talented Chef to join our team in our Ingleburn, NSW 2565 location. As a full-time Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and innovative dishes that delight our customers. This is an exciting chance to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to the growth and success of our thriving café.
What you'll be doing
1. Preparing and cooking a wide range of meals, including hot and cold dishes, to our high-quality standards
2. Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations in the kitchen
3. Collaborating with the team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials
4. Overseeing the efficient and organised running of the kitchen
5. Maintaining a clean and well-organised work environment
6. Providing guidance and mentorship to kitchen staff
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience as a Chef, ideally in a café or similar hospitality workplace
2. Solid culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
3. Excellent knowledge of food preparation, presentation and kitchen management
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
5.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to food safety and hygiene
6. Qualifications in Commercial Cookery or a related field would be highly advantageous
7. Candidates must have Australian work rights
