Job Summary
As a HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of HVAC systems in commercial settings. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring optimal system performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, ventilation systems, and refrigeration systems.
- Conduct system installations and upgrades, ensuring proper equipment functioning.
- Diagnose system issues using diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and industry best practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining repairs, and offering preventive maintenance recommendations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations, promoting a protected work environment.
- Keep accurate records of service calls, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Certificate III in refrigeration and air conditioning
- Electrical disconnect/reconnect (D) permit
- 5 + years of experience as a HVAC Service Technician, with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in reading drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components of HVAC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts when required.
