Titan Garages & Sheds is a leading supplier and manufacturer of a large range of domestic and light industrial steel buildings.
Applications are invited for the full time position for an Experienced Purchasing Officer to join our team at our Head Office at Crestmead.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and replenishing inventory levels in a timely manner
- Working with all departments within the business to ensure sufficient stock levels at all times
- Preparation and processing of purchase orders in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure product quality and competitive pricing
- Sourcing potential new vendors and managing freight costs
- Fleet management (company cars, utes, trucks, forklifts)
- Engaging contractors to maintain,
repair or install infrastructure at Company Branches
Skills and Experience
- At least 5 years experience in position
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience within a steel manufacturing environment highly advantageous
- Importing experience (sea and air)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
