About the position
We are seeking a motivated Junior PV/BESS Engineer to support both pre-sales and post-sales activities. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or junior engineers looking to start their career in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Team during the pre-sales stage by providing accurate technical advice and recommendations.
- Prepare detailed system designs and technical drawings for residential and commercial solar-battery installations.
- Review site information and system requirements to ensure feasibility and alignment with project needs.
- Produce complete Bill of Materials (BOM), documentation packs, and installation specifications.
- Conduct technical reviews of designs and implement amendments where required.
- Identify potential technical challenges early and propose practical mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all projects meet current Australian standards, regulations, and certification requirements.
- Maintain an organised and consistent project approach, especially for larger or more complex installations.
- Coordinate post-sale project activities to ensure timely delivery and budget compliance.
- Manage and prioritise multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- Use problem-solving and creative thinking to deliver optimal technical and commercial outcomes.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
● Accredited designer by Clean Energy Council is not essential but would be beneficial.
● Autocad skills are desirable.
● Minimum 6 month experience on PV/BESS design and technical support.
● Strong PV/BESS knowledge.
● Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
● Proficiency in using CRM tools and other relevant software.
● A can-do and team-oriented attitude
