Multiple opportunities exist at our Canberra foodservice branch located at Hume for fulltime Night Shift Storepersons.

This role suits someone who works well in a quick-paced environment, stays focused under pressure and is comfortable operating in freezer, chiller and dry store areas. It’s physical, it’s practical and it’s essential to the success of hospitality businesses.
About the role
On a typical night, you’ll be picking and assembling customer orders, loading trucks, and helping keep our warehouse tidy, organised and running like clockwork. You’ll rotate across dry, chilled and frozen duties, so no two shifts feel quite the same. The role will also require you to:
- Pick and assemble goods accurately
- Load trucks efficiently and safely
- Perform duties in freezer environments (down to -25°C)
- Support warehouse housekeeping and safety protocols
- Work overtime when required to meet demand
About you
We’re looking for someone who enjoys the physical side of work, can be relied on to show up and work hard and takes pride in doing a job properly. You’re punctual, practical and a team player. The kind of person others can count on when it gets busy.
If you’ve worked in hospitality or kitchens before and understand the pace and importance of getting things right, that experience translates perfectly to this role.
Previous warehouse experience and a forklift licence are an advantage, but more important is your work ethic, attitude and willingness to learn.
Skills and experience
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a solid work ethic, physical readiness and a willingness to work across different environments as part of a reliable team.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Previous warehouse or Storeperson experience (a plus)
- Good communication and time management skills
- Forklift licence with reach experience (advantageous)
- Current MR licence (advantageous)
- Comfortable working across freezer, chiller and dry areas
