About the role
This is a rare opportunity to join an established Compliance Team and work in beautiful Port Stephens.
As a Parking Officer, you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, monitoring parking compliance, and issuing infringement notices as required. This is a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of public parking facilities.
What you'll be doing
1. Patrolling designated areas to monitor parking compliance
2. Issuing parking infringement notices to vehicles in violation of parking regulations
3. Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all parking-related activities
4. Providing excellent customer service to the public and responding to inquiries
5. Collaborating with local authorities and law enforcement as needed
6. Adhering to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
Although a background in compliance or enforcement would be ideal, experience working in security or solution oriented, strong customer focussed environments will be considered.
You must have:
- Drivers licence (class C)
- availability to work across a 7 day roster
- a high level of resilience
- demonstrated experience communicating positively to customers, stakeholders and / or community groups
