About the Role
We are seeking an experienced conveyancer or junior property lawyer to manage our busy conveyancing practice. The successful candidate will handle conveyancing matters from file opening through to settlement, with autonomy and support from our team as needed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing residential and commercial conveyancing files end-to-end
- Preparing contracts of sale, section 32s, and associated property documentation/correspondence
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders,
and other stakeholders
- Conducting PEXA settlements and managing relevant compliance requirements
- Assisting with general property law matters as required
This role is ideal for an experienced conveyancer or recently admitted lawyer who has experience in property law and is confident with managing files independently.
About You
We are seeking someone who:
- Has at least 2 years' experience in conveyancing or property law
- For lawyer applicants: is admitted to practice in Victoria
- Is confident managing files independently and liaising directly with clients
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Has experience with PEXA and property practice management systems (especially Leap)
- Speaks Greek at a professional level (highly preferred)
- Works well in a quick-paced environment both independently and as part of a small team
