Are you leaving school and looking for a career? We currently have positions open for 1st Year Apprentice Electronic Security Technicians commencing January 2026.
Securcom, is a leading Electronic Security Services provider, specialising in premium Access Control & CCTV solutions. We are currently seeking to employ new apprentices for Service and Installation of Electronic security systems, this apprenticeship is based out of our Newcastle office, located in Tomago.
Securcom will supply successful apprentices with all uniforms, safety equipment and basic hand tools required for their apprenticeship. Apprentices will be working day to day in varying service and installation environments across Newcastle and regional NSW area.
What will the successful candidate have?
- Current Drivers Licence (essential)
- 100% commitment to secure work practices
- Commitment to a 4 year apprenticeship
- A genuine interest in electronics and IT
- Ability to gain a security clearance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to occasionally travel
- Sound written, verbal and computer skills.
- A strong work ethic and willing to follow instructions
The successful candidates will be working with some of the best CCTV and Access Control systems available today, with major commercial and government clients.
