We have a full-time opportunity for a Store Manager at our David Jones Chatswood location.

The opportunity:

As the Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, managing staff, and leading the team to deliver a superior shopping experience while maximizing profitability.

The Store Manager will be responsible for:

- Managing all store operations, including sales, inventory, and customer service.

- Leading, motivating, and developing the store team to achieve sales and performance goals.

- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.

- Maintaining visual merchandising standards and ensure the store is clean and organized.

- Monitoring and analysing sales figures and adjust strategies accordingly.

- Managing stock levels and make key decisions about stock control.

- Handling staffing, including recruitment, training, and performance management.





- Ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements.

- Preparing reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance.

Requirements:

- Minimum 8 years related experience with (at least 3 years as shop-in-charge) in fashion retail, preferably in ready-to-wear

- Client-centric and passionate in fashion

- Strong leadership with good interpersonal, organizational skills and business acumen

- Sales & KPI-driven, willing to aim higher and able to work under pressure

- Valuable computer skills (MS Office)

- Proficiency in another language is a plus

- We may also have upcoming opportunities for Assistant Store Managers and Supervisors in Sydney, so if you feel you don’t quite meet the criteria for Store Manager, we’d still love to hear from you.
