About this Role
As a GTM Operations Manager, you will oversee the go-to-market operations for new products — from market certification to launch and post‑launch monitoring. You will ensure that all products meet local regulatory and compliance standards, support the rollout of GTM strategies, lead cross‑functional alignment, and drive market readiness for new launches. Your work will enable smooth product introductions and strong market performance for GAC’s vehicles in Australia and the wider Oceania region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the process of product certification and homologation to ensure compliance with local laws and standards.
- Support and coordinate go-to-market (GTM) strategies including product launch planning, market entry timing, and alignment with business goals.
- Conduct market, competitor, and consumer behavior research; prepare clear market insight reports to guide product positioning and marketing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, sales, marketing, compliance, supply chain) to ensure successful execution of launches.
- Prepare marketing materials, promotional content, and training materials for both internal teams and dealer partners; assist in training implementation.
- Monitor and analyze market performance, including product acceptance, sales trends, and marketing effectiveness; propose optimizations and adjustments based on data.
- Manage project timelines, resources, external suppliers/partners, and coordinate multi‑stakeholder launch tasks.
- Support ongoing compliance and post‑launch certification/documentation requirements as needed.
What We Are Looking For?
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field (or relevant experience).
- At least 3–5 years’ experience in automotive product launch, certification / homologation, product marketing operations, or related fields. OEM or automotive industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of regulatory compliance, product certification processes, market research, and GTM strategy execution.
- Strong project management skills — able to manage multiple parallel tasks, timelines, and stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate data/insights into action.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; comfortable liaising with compliance, product development, marketing, and sales teams.
- Detail-oriented, solutions-driven, and capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
