About the client
The business is a vertically integrated growing and processing business with a large facility in Leeton. The business boasts the largest site of its kind in Australia and is looking for a WHS Advisor for the processing site and other growing sites within its regional cluster.
About the role
Reporting to the WHS Operations Manager your remit will cover both the Central processing facility and several growing facilities in the region. You will be challenged to build a strong safety culture with a focus on collaboration. You will:
- Lead and deliver WHS initiatives and training across the sites
- Support operational teams and work closely with site managers on safety initiatves
- Drive and foster a continuous improvement culture utilisng safety systems
- Manage all Return to work coordination and contractor inductions
About you
You are a proven WHS Advisor with Tertiary qualifications in WHS and a solid exposure to Return To Work. Ideally you will have worked within a food or agricultural business but other heavier manufacturing backgrounds will be considered.
