We are currently working on behalf of a number of cabinetry & shopfitting businesses looking for a factory foreman on the North side of Brisbane.
All of which are medium-sized manufacturing factories specialising in high-quality, custom joinery.
The role would be a key leadership role in managing the daily operations of the factory floor and factory team. This position oversees production workflow, ensures projects are delivered on time and to a high standard, and provides hands-on support and guidance to tradespeople and apprentices.
About You
- Qualified cabinet maker with trade certification
- Experience as a Factory Foreman (highly regarded)
- Proven experience as a Leading Hand or in a supervisory role (essential)
- Solid problem-solving ability and confidence working to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and foster a positive team culture
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a proactive approach
- Motivated to learn, open to feedback, and committed to growing your career within the industry
Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee day-to-day factory operations and production workflow
- Work hands-on when needed to support younger tradespeople and apprentices
- Ensure all projects are completed on time and to company quality standards
- Lead, manage, and motivate the factory team
- Conduct equipment and machinery maintenance
- Provide daily reporting and updates to production management
