JR Roofing & Plumbing is a thriving, Family Owned and Operated business with over 20 years' experience, with a reputation for quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a Site and Project Manager who is more than just an administrator - we want a true leader who can inspire, develop, and mentor our trade team while working closely with our General Manager and Owner.

We are looking for either an experienced Manager, or someone looking to come off the tools and step into leadership. We will support you every step of the way!

About the Role

This is a pivotal position that will drive the success of our projects from start to finish. You'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and liaising with clients, team members, and contractors to ensure seamless workflow, exceptional quality, and customer satisfaction. This role offers the autonomy to make decisions while being supported by a cooperative leadership team.

Your Key Responsibilities

Project & Site Management:

· Conduct site inspections including scaffolding, measuring, and design assessments

· Schedule trades efficiently while adhering to customer deadlines

· Oversee factory planning and stock control

· Coordinate vehicle maintenance and production team logistics

Leadership & People Development:

· Train, mentor, and coach trade team members to reach their full potential

· Assist with recruitment of new trade team members

· Be a trusted point of contact and support for all team members

· Foster a positive, safety-focused team culture

Quality & Safety:

· Ensure OH&S; compliance for all roofing operations





· Maintain and continuously improve company standards

· Deliver customer expectations consistently

What We're Looking For

Essential:

· Proven experience within the construction/roofing industry

· Strong leadership skills with a genuine passion for coaching and developing people

· Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with senior management

· Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities

· Self-motivated with a "can do" attitude and commitment to excellence

· Basic computer skills

· Current driver's license

· Australian work authorisation required

· Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
