We are a well-established family-owned metal recycling business, centrally located at Molendinar on the Gold Coast. We are committed to sustainability and delivering exceptional service to our customers within Northern NSW and SE QLD area. We are looking for a motivated and organised Call Centre Operator to join our dynamic team and manage our daily Skip Bin phone line efficiently.

About the role:
Based in our Gold Coast location, this is a vital role.



You will assist with the day-to-day coordination of answering inbound calls from key corporate accounts and related administrative activities that support Adrian's Metal Recyclers. We operate a fleet of nine trucks, consisting of Flat beds, Tilt Tray, Skip Trucks, and a Body Truck. You will collaborate closely with our customers and internal teams. We are seeking an initiative-taking and detail-orientated Call Centre Operator to join our team to answer calls and questions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Answer all inbound calls in a timely manner, in a polite and friendly manner.

- Coordinate Skip Bin requests for materials and equipment via Service M8 software.

- Work closely with the Transport Co-ordinator to ensure compliance with NHVL and CoR regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless operations.

- Maintain availability for Tuesday to Friday working hours from 7am to 4pm and Saturday 7am - 1pm

About you:

As a motivated and experienced Call Centre operator, you will have expert attention to detail and a willingness to adapt within a demanding environment. Your cheerful outlook and ability to forward think will be regarded highly.



A minimum of 2+ years call centre experience is required to demonstrate proven capability in handling high-volume customer interactions.

- Proven experience in transport call centre advantageous, but not essential

- Previous experience with ServiceM8, 3CX software is highly desirable.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills; comfortable and confident consulting with both internal and external stakeholders.

- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

- Knowledge of either car or the metal recycling industry is an advantage but not essential.
