Administration Professional – Small Electrical Business
Are you an experienced and proactive Administration Qualified looking to join a close-knit team? We're an established electrical company seeking a highly organised and technically minded individual to take ownership of our day-to-day administrative operations.
About the Role:
You'll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable and receivable
- Handling HR administration and maintaining employee records
- Providing reception support, including managing emails and phone inquiries
- Performing website updates and general maintenance
- Preparing documents, reports,
and spreadsheets using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Working closely with customers and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and service
About You:
- Proven experience in small business administration
- Proficient in Word and Excel (experience with Xero is a strong advantage)
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem solving
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable, committed, and able to thrive in a small team environment
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, hardworking team where your contribution will make a real difference. This job has the opportunity to work from home and hours are flexible and will be discussed during your interview, however we aim for about 5 hours daily, Monday to Friday, due to the workload. Salary will depend strongly on your skills and previous experience and will also be discussed during your interview, moving within the $25-$35 per hour range.
