About the role

Join the dedicated team at Oberon Pharmacy, a leading provider of pharmaceutical services in the local community. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our patients by providing expert pharmaceutical care, dispensing medications, and offering professional advice and support. This is a full time position based in Oberon, NSW 2787.

What you'll be doing

1. Dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and efficiently

2. Providing personalised patient counselling, education and support on the safe and effective use of medications

3. Monitoring patients' medication regimens and identifying and resolving any potential issues or adverse reactions

4.



Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes

5. Maintaining detailed records and inventory of pharmaceutical stock

6. Staying up-to-date with the latest pharmaceutical developments, regulations and best practices

7. Participating in pharmacy-based disease prevention and health promotion initiatives

What we're looking for

1. Current registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia

2. Minimum 2 years of experience is preffered but not essention - as a practicing Pharmacist, preferably in a community pharmacy setting

3. Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in the safe and effective use of medications

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare providers

5. Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care

6. Strong organisational and time management skills

7. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
