Job Description & Summary

Our Assurance Accounting Consulting Services (ACS) team is for those passionate about solving complex accounting matters.

We focus on guiding our clients and engagement teams to better understand accounting complexities in order to enhance the quality of financial reporting.

It's one of our firm's go-to teams for specialist technical accounting capability.

Here, you'll find experts with deep technical knowledge and expertise in the application and interpretation of accounting standards, policy and the evolving regulatory landscape.

And our team is expanding.



That's why we need your knowledge to solve highly technical and complex matters in relation to IFRS accounting.

You will use your extensive knowledge of treasury operations, hedging, and commodity markets gained from working in either a professional services or a large reputable corporate workplace.

You will be dealing with complex financial instrument IFRS accounting issues, including hedge accounting (such as determining appropriate designations), structured financing, and complex commodity arrangements.

You will need to be skilled in advising on and dealing with the practical application of accounting standards related to financial instruments and treasury matters.

Having the ability to quickly absorb complex technical information, identify and translate this into the commercial implications for clients and engagement teams is key.

As a member of our ACS team we'll give you cutting edge complex accounting matters to solve by performing accounting research and through plenty of support from our team.

You'll have opportunities to further develop your technical accounting skills,



building your reputation as a IFRS treasury subject matter expert, as well as your ability to challenge and apply intuitive thinking.

The minimum full time salary for this role is $92,700 including Superannuation, however will be determined based on the skills and experience that the candidate brings.
