We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our growing team in Brighton East. This role is ideal for an innovative professional passionate about generative AI, software engineering,
and intelligent automation. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and internal developers to design, implement, and maintain AI-powered solutions that improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable AI and automation solutions tailored to client needs.
- Provide technical advice and strategic input on automation and AI system design, including feasibility studies, solution modelling, and cost/benefit evaluation.
- Design, develop, and integrate generative AI models, APIs, and automation pipelines into enterprise systems to streamline workflows.
- Customise, configure, and upgrade software applications, ensuring alignment with client objectives and technology standards.
- Test, validate, and refine AI models and automation frameworks, applying iterative improvements for accuracy, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare system documentation, technical specifications,
and user guidelines for implemented solutions.
- Conduct performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimisation of AI and automation applications to maintain efficiency.
- Lead research into emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and tools, advising on their potential adoption to improve service delivery.
- Maintain robust compliance with industry regulations, data governance, and security standards in all AI implementations.
- Train and support end-users in the effective use of automation systems and AI tools, ensuring knowledge transfer and sustainable usage.
- Contribute to the development of innovative prototypes, proofs of concept, and pilot programs showcasing AI-driven capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 year’s relevant professional experience in AI, software development, or automation engineering.

Employment Type: Full-Time (38 hours per week)
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 + superannuation
