Site Engineer – Drainage & Utilities – Adelaide
8-12 Week Contract | ASAP Start | Principal Contractor
A respected principal contractor is seeking a Site Engineer to join their delivery team on a local road infrastructure upgrade project in Adelaide .
This is a short-term contract role with up to 12 weeks of work, with the potential for extension.



The scope focuses on drainage and utility works —ideal for an engineer looking to step into a structured project with a quick start.
Key Details

- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Up to 12 weeks (with extension potential)
- Location: Adelaide-based project
- Scope: Drainage and utility installation as part of a road upgrade

Your Role:

- Assist with the coordination and delivery of drainage and utility packages
- Manage quality documentation, ITPs, and subcontractor progress
- Support the site team with daily planning and progress tracking
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and project specifications

Requirements:

- Experience working on civil infrastructure projects, particularly drainage/utilities
- Competent with QA, site inspections, and subcontractor management
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Available for immediate start and based in or near Adelaide
