Pay: Competitive pay rates: $30.04 - $30.82/hr depending on qualifications and experience
Roster: 7 shifts per fortnight
Location: Based at our Williamstown Hostel in Williamstown (VIC)
Your recent role
Wintringham is currently seeking an experienced and proactive individual to join our tight-knit and friendly Domestic Services team at Williamstown Hostel on a Part time basis. As a Domestic Services Assistant, you will be working across our cleaning and laundry teams.

Your roster is as below:
Week 1: Tuesday & Friday (1430 – 2130)
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (1430 – 2130)
Responsibilities
- To clean resident rooms, common areas, office spaces, cleaners and staff room as scheduled
- To replenish & maintain stock levels
- Cleaning & Laundry duties as per schedule
- To ensure provision of clean laundry throughout the home at all times
- Assist the Food Services team with delivery and serving of food and drinks as scheduled
We are looking for candidates with the following
- Previous experience in a cleaning/laundry role – preferably in Aged Care/Health Care
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- A non-judgmental approach to working with people
- Qualifications and experience in food handling, infection control, manual handling and the use of cleaning chemicals (highly advantageous)
- Food Safety Certificate and Food Handlers Certificate (highly advantageous)
- Physically able to perform manual tasks including (but not limited to) bending & lifting
