Job summary

Austar is seeking a full-time Forklift Driver / Warehouse Hand to join our growing team in Epping, Victoria. This hands-on role is an integral part of our efficient warehousing and distribution operations, ensuring the timely and accurate movement of goods.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move and store goods and materials in the warehouse
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping and safety in the warehouse
- Assist with stock takes and stock rotation
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Follow all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines





Qualifications

- Forklift license (LF) and prior experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as unsupervised
- Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and a willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual with a robust work ethic
- Must have strong communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
