**Support young women who are pregnant or parenting in 24/7 accommodation and outreach programs **at** Fullarton, Morphett Vale, Blair Athol **locations,** and **young people experiencing homelessness in **Elizabeth South.**
**The Role**
The Support Worker will have the opportunity to work across various 24/7 accommodation programs which provide support to young people in a therapeutic environment. The programs (sites) are listed below:
**Carlow Place**:Support and emergency and medium to long term accommodation for young people aged 15-17 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
**Coolock House and Malvern Place**:Support and accommodation to young women up to the age of 25 who are pregnant and/or parenting and are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
**Hannah Place and Louise Place**:Support and accommodation to young women up to the age of 18 who are pregnant and/or parenting and are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Support Workers will be rostered to shifts in programs where their skills best suit program requirements.

**What you need to bring**
- Minimum Certificate IV in Community Services or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with young people in the areas of homelessness, mental health, youth justice, homelessness, pregnancy, drug and alcohol misuse or similar
- Must complete a Psychological Assessment and attain a suitable outcome in line with the Children and Young People Safety Act 2017
- Valid Senior First Aid Certificate
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Must be willing and available to work in a rotating roster including overnights and weekends
- Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check. (previously known as ‘Child-Related Employment Screening Clearance’)
- Ability to comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel to various work sites in the Adelaide metro region
- Experience using H2H data management system and Penelope electronic management system is desirable
