- This is a full-time fixed-term position through to December 2027 with salary in the range $115,645 - $129,654 (HEW 8), plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%.

About This Opportunity

As Program Manager,



this pivotal role leads the coordination and delivery of a strategic program designed to transform teaching, learning, and the student experience in response to advancements in artificial intelligence. Working across academic and professional portfolios, the position supports the implementation of institutional initiatives, manages program governance and reporting, and ensures effective engagement with stakeholders across faculties, schools, and central services. While based in the ODVC(A) and reporting to the Senior Manager, Governance and Reporting, this role also maintains a close working relationship with the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education and Student Experience) as program sponsor, and collaborates closely with learning design teams across the University.

Key responsibilities will include:

Program Leadership and Strategic Implementation

- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of program activities, ensuring alignment with the university's AI in education strategy. Support senior academic and professional leaders in implementing strategic priorities related to AI-enhanced teaching, assessment, and student support.

Program Governance and Reporting





- Manage program governance, including comprehensive project reporting, maintaining risk registers, and tracking key milestones effectively.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

- Facilitate strong engagement with academic and professional stakeholders to ensure alignment, foster adoption, and maximize program impact. Oversee program communications and contribute to change management initiatives.

Project and Evaluation Oversight

- Commission and manage various working groups, pilot projects, and evaluation activities as required to drive the program's objectives.

About You

- Possess relevant postgraduate qualifications or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.

- Demonstrated experience in program or project management within a complex organizational environment, preferably in higher education.





- Proven knowledge of relevant project management tools or methodologies for monitoring project progress. Understand contemporary developments in AI and its implications for teaching, learning, and the student experience.

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver strategic outcomes. Possess high-level interpersonal skills, including effective liaison and negotiation, to develop strong working relationships and engage and influence diverse stakeholders.

- Demonstrate high-level organizational ability and attention to detail, with the capacity to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities effectively.

You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment, and may be required to complete background checks including,
