About The Role
Successful applicants to this vacancy will be assessed on their demonstrated work experience and skills to undertake the following core role duties:

- Design, configure, test, deploy and support SAP functionality for Plant Maintenance (PM) and Project Systems (PS) SAP modules to enhance business functionality.
- Provide SAP functional consulting and support to the department and SAP knowledge transfer to the wider support team as required.
- Strong ability to understand business processes and recommend options and implement solutions to enhance business performance and reform business processes.




- Providing relevant SAP functional expertise, guidance and training to end users as required.
- Ability to translate business needs into well written, unambiguous functional requirements and deliver business requirements using standard SAP functionality.
- Ability to liaise, consult and negotiate effectively with support stakeholders and team members in relation to support activities.
- Work independently when required to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Assist in building working relationships with clients through the use of effective communication skills.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality support related processes and procedures to ensure a high quality outcome for clients of the support unit.

Responsibilities Include
As the Principal SAP Functional Analyst, PM/PS, you will:





- Be working within the SAP Business Support Unit, which involves members of a multi-disciplinary team supporting the department's SAP instance that covers the following SAP modules, Finance and Controlling (FICO) (including GL, CO, AA, AR and AP), Materials Management (MM), Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Project Systems (PS) and Business Warehouse / Business Intelligence (BW/BI).

The Principal SAP Functional Analyst, PM/PS reports to the Manager, SAP Functional Team, Financial Business Systems, Financial Services, Finance, Procurement and Facilities, Corporate and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Service

Highly Desirable Attributes

- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in SAP implementations




- SAP certification ideally in one or more relating to Portfolio and Projects Systems; Enterprise Asset Management and Plant Systems SAP modules.
- Experience in projects managed under PRINCE2; ITSM change framework or AGILE.
