About The Role
We’re looking for a strategic and commercially savvy National Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy channel across Australia. This role sits on the Commercial Leadership Team and heads up the dedicated Pharmacy Account Management team.
You’ll shape and execute the sales strategy, lead national promotions, drive strong ROI, and elevate our partnerships with key pharmacy banners and brokers.
With a clear mandate for growth, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact across an iconic brand portfolio.
This role can be offered as full-time or part-time (ideally 4 days per week or 9 day fortnight). We understand that great talent comes in different forms, so we’re open to a conversation about what works best for you.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Strategic Account Management
- Lead national pharmacy accounts and drive customer-first strategies
- Build and execute tailored promotional plans for each banner
- Identify and act on growth opportunities across our product portfolio
- Strengthen long-term partnerships with industry leaders and associations
- Champion a high-performance, results-driven sales culture
Sales & Operational Excellence
- Lead the S&OP; process and close performance gaps
- Manage forecasting,
reporting, and ensure accurate promotional execution
- Develop clear guidelines for broker teams, ensuring strong field execution
- Identify and address gaps in the market to boost visibility and sales
- Maximise budget efficiency and promotional ROI
Financial Leadership
- Full P&L; ownership of the Pharmacy channel
- Deliver volume, margin, and spend targets
- Oversee trade spend and ensure effective use of promotional budgets
- Review and manage promotional accruals and financial compliance
Team & Stakeholder Leadership
- Manage and develop a high-performing Pharmacy team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain and Commercial teams
- Drive culture, embody company values, and promote continuous improvement
- Ensure full compliance with OH&S;, GMP, and internal standards

Ideally, You Will
- Previous experience as an Account Manager (i.e. Sales, Business Development, Category) in a Pharmacy environment
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a People leadership role
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Account Manager role
- Minimum of 5 years’ Channel experience in dealing with key Pharmacy wholesalers and Customers
- Exceptional presentation skills – ability to engage and influence audience
- Strong financial intellect, particularly with respect to customer/account profitability
- Highly motivated to deliver results
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Relationship builder – strong stakeholder management skills – both internal and external
- Influential communicator – superior communication skills, both verbal and written
- Seasoned negotiator, can deliver win-win outcomes
- Experience using and reporting on Sales data (i.e. Aztec, Neilson)
- Microsoft Office – intermediate to advanced
