Job Description

- Process invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable records and ledgers.
- Respond to supplier queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable activities.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline payment processes.
- Support month-end closing processes by providing required documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounts payable functions.

The Successful Applicant
A Successful Accounts Payable Officer Should Have

- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role within accounting and finance.
- A strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and suppliers.
