About the Role
As an Enrolled Nurse in the Specialist Geriatric Dementia Unit, you will play an important role in delivering compassionate, person-centred care to older patients. Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will support the care team in meeting the complex needs of patients, promoting their independence, dignity, and wellbeing. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with assessments, monitoring patient health, and contributing to a safe, respectful,
and culturally appropriate care environment.
This role offers an opportunity to grow from a novice to a proficient Enrolled Nurse through hands-on experience and continuous professional development. You will be supported in applying your knowledge and skills while maintaining accountability for your own practice. About You
You are a dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse who takes pride in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. With strong communication skills and a team-focused approach, you are committed to supporting patients and colleagues alike.
Enrolled or eligible for enrolment with the Nursing Board of Australia
Skilled in prioritising care, recognising clinical changes, and reporting appropriately
Proven experience delivering nursing care aligned with professional standards
Strong understanding of the Enrolled Nurse's role, scope of practice, and relevant legislation
