About the Role
Our goal is to enable the aging and disabled community to live fulfilling lives at home, doing what they love for as long as possible.
Care visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet client needs.
Responsibilities
Provide genuine, compassionate, and personalized care experiences
Assist with activities of daily living: personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, companionship
Follow care plans developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
Ensure safety and proper use of equipment
Accurately complete records and documentation
Collaborate with a supportive team
Participate in ongoing training
Skills & Experience
Passionate about making a difference
Self-led with responsibility and accountability
Coachable
Previous caregiving experience is an asset
Fluent in English; other languages beneficial
Ability to report care concerns to Care Designers
Reliable transportation; own vehicle is an asset
Mandatory Requirements
Minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Community Support, Individual Support, Disability,
or extensive industry experience
National Police Check (Aged Care/Vulnerable Persons Sector)
Working With Children Check
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
NDIS Worker Screener Clearance
