WHO ARE WE?
The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation has been supporting Sydney’s most vulnerable for nearly 40 years. Through free meals, social support, medical car and education, we help people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage get back on their feet.
Our new Blacktown Medical Clini c is part of our Social Health and Wellbeing (SHW) service, providing wraparound care for people facing complex challenges including crisis support, medical and dental care, and help with essentials like food and bills.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced General Practitioner to join our Blacktown Clinic in a part-time, 12-month fixed-term role. This is your chance to provide meaningful care in a community setting,
where your work makes a real difference every day.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Deliver quality, compassionate primary care to disadvantaged and at-risk patients
- Respond to complex medical needs and manage emergencies with care and professionalism
- Work alongside a multi-disciplinary team, with access to dental, allied health, and support services
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and follow best-practice clinical protocols
- Provide referrals and contribute to coordinated care plans as needed
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced health care environment and brings:
- Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Confidence working with vulnerable or high-needs populations
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and respond to changing priorities
- A commitment to equity, dignity and trauma-informed care
