We’re looking for a self-motivated and inquisitive Digital Marketing & Content Specialist to join our team and help drive the growth of two dynamic brands — Fernland (a leading B2B supplier to the horticulture and landscaping industry) and The Garden Superstore (a fast-growing ecommerce destination for gardeners).
This is a hands-on, mid-level role for someone who’s equal parts strategic and scrappy — someone who can turn around effective content quickly, manage digital campaigns confidently, and dig into CRM data to find new growth opportunities.
Location: Yandina, Sunshine Coast (with semi-regular off-site content capture)
Reporting to: Head of Marketing
What You’ll Be Doing
Fernland – B2B Focus (Majority of Time)
- Plan, capture, and produce short-form content (filming, editing, publishing) aligned to marketing personas, seasonal messaging, industry news, and product stories
- Develop customer testimonials, behind-the-scenes stories, and warehouse content with quick turnaround (low-fi is ok — real and relevant is better)
- Manage Fernland’s social media (especially LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts)
- Maintain and optimise Google Ads campaigns
- Support email marketing with relevant web, video, and social content
- Align content strategy with personas across turf, nursery, agriculture, and landscape segments
- Stay close to the industry: visit sites, attend field days, talk to customers
Garden Superstore – B2C Focus
- Manage social, Google Ads, SEO, and email campaigns to drive new customer acquisition
- Drive strategies to unlock repeat purchases and customer retention
- Develop and deploy customer journeys, nurture flows, seasonal offers and reactivation campaigns
- Test and learn from CRM/EDM plaform and website behaviour — identifying new growth segments and tactics
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years in a digital marketing role, ideally with both content creation and campaign management experience
- Comfortable filming, editing, and producing content across platforms (mobile-first mindset welcome)
- Working knowledge of Google Ads, social platforms, and CRM/email marketing systems
- Analytical mindset — can interpret results and act on insights
- Self-driven, curious, and pragmatic — able to balance quick wins with long-term growth
- Ability to build a deep understanding of technical industries and speak your audience’s language
- Comfortable getting out of the office to capture footage, meet clients, or get the story firsthand
