The Religious Education Coordinator has delegated responsibility for the coordination and supervision of teaching and learning in Religious Education and the religious dimension of the school.The successful candidate for this position will be a highly effective and Catholic leader who:is a committed Catholic who understands the evangelising mission of Catholic schoolsis a leader of Catholic identity and mission at a school and/or system levelis committed to working closely with the priests and the parish communitycan lead the preparation of liturgies and celebrationsis able to lead Religious Education in all aspects of curriculum development, implementation and differentiationis a strong, contemporary leader of learning, with the capacity to lead change and demonstrate contemporary pedagogy that focuses on improving student learningis a person who can effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders and build relationshipscan analyse and use data to inform learning and engage in future planninghas the ability to work collaboratively across all stagesis adaptable in working within a 'shared-leadership' modelis a Baptised Catholic with demonstrated evidence of ongoing commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church and engagement in the life of a Catholic faith community such as a parish or an established community within the Catholic Church, as an expression of your relationship with Jesus Christ.You will have attained:completed, or has evidence of, study toward a Graduate Diploma or Master of Religious Education, Theology or Theological Studies from an approved institutionrequirements of (Category E) as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach,



and Lead or agree to meet these requirements in your first contract termdemonstrates the standard descriptors at lead teacher level, in accordance with the Australian Professional Standards for Teacherspost graduate units of study in leadership (advantageous).
