The firm’s Melbourne office is led by one of Australia’s most respected Bankers covering Industrials and Financial Sponsors.
The opportunity
Our client wishes to appoint an Investment Banking Analyst / Associate I to their high-performing team. You will play an integral role supporting the execution on a wide range of strategic M&A; mandates. The team have a strong track record of executing on complex cross-border and domestic transactions for top tier clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and run comprehensive financial models and conduct extensive financial analysis
- Effectively analyse, evaluate, and synthesise information
- Performing company and industry research
- Assisting in the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials
In this role you will refine core investment banking skills, laying a strong foundation for long-term success and positioning you to originate and lead your own transactions in the future.
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 1 year investment banking experience
- Bachelor’s degree with proven academic excellence
- Advanced financial modelling skills
- Strong knowledge of M&A; products and deal structuring
- Keen eye for attention to detail and producing high quality presentations
- A team player mindset with an ability to work seamlessly as part of a close-knit team
- First class interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior executives
- Strong ability to multi-task and manage concurrent projects and deliverables
You must have full and unrestricted working rights in Australia to be considered.
