Description
An exciting opportunity exists for a Pharmacist Advanced Materials Management Team Leader. The Pharmacist Advanced Materials Management Team Leader is part of a team of pharmacists and pharmacy assistants providing services to patients within the Sunshine Coast Health and is part of the Pharmacy Leadership Team. The position is responsible for providing advanced clinical, professional, and strategic leadership for pharmacy services for the Materials Management team across the Sunshine Coast Health. This role requires a high level of managerial knowledge, leadership skills, and an advanced level of clinical knowledge.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities
1. Accountable for the efficient and cost-effective procurement service for medications, bulk fluids, and other procurement items for the pharmacy departments within the health service.
2. Provide authoritative counsel to senior management, colleagues, and other relevant stakeholders in matters relating to material management services.
3. Accountable for the coordination of medication recalls and shortages across Sunshine Coast Health facilities, supporting Medication Safety initiatives related to materials management. Facilitate communication regarding recalls and shortages in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
4.
Identify and participate in projects or initiatives investigating improved practices, workflows, and/or costs relating to inventory and purchasing.
Remuneration value up to $172,615 p.a., comprising a salary between $144,991 - $151,289 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5).
