About the role, Our Penrith Distribution Centre is the home to several specialist branches/teams, taking advantage of grouped logistics, repair and maintenance functions.
In the DC, we have our Access, Earthmoving & Site Service, Traffic & Pump & Power specialist businesses.
We are seeking a Waste Pump Truck Driver to join our team in the Greater Western Sydney area.
In this role, you will operate and maintain a waste pump truck to safely collect, transport, and dispose of liquid and solid waste materials.
You will ensure all waste management activities align with Kennards Hire's values, standards, and procedures while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.
The driver plays a key role in upholding environmental safety standards and delivering reliable waste collection and disposal services.This role requires you to;Drive a MR Truck fitted with a toilet servicing tankServicing toilets including using a hose to pump out effluent from toilets, cleaning and sanitising the toilets, replenishing the toilets with fresh water, and refilling consumables such as toilet paperCompleting a time sensitive toilet cleaning schedule for an allocated runCompletion of required paperwork including pre-start checklistsDriving between numerous worksites each daySafely load and unload of portable toiletsProvide exceptional customer service in all customer interactionsCommitment to maintaining clean and safe work method practicesMaintain vehicle,
tank and pump setup and to manage stock on board the truck.About youA current HR/MR LicenseThe availability to work Saturdays on a rotating rosterThis role requires some physical components including lifting and standing on your feet for long periods.
A level of physical fitness is required and the ability to pass a drug testStrong communication skillsBe proactive and keen to learn new skillsAn interest in machinery and equipment, although training will be providedA positive attitude and team playerAbility to work well unsupervised and within a team and complete tasks in a timely mannerPlease note during the interview process you will need to provide a copy of your driving recordJoin our teamYou can always tell someone who works at Kennards Hire.
