We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Social Worker to join our team in a rural generalist and palliative care role. This is a unique opportunity to provide a comprehensive range of services to our local communities, making a tangible difference to the lives of individuals and families who need it most.

**Broad Purpose of the Position**

Working under reduced clinical direction, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of other allied health professionals, including mentoring students and less experienced staff. This role provides a great opportunity for professional growth and to make an impact in the rural and remote healthcare sector.

**Essential Criteria**
- A recognised qualification in Social Work and eligibility for full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Demonstrated clinical experience in social work, particularly within a rural and/or palliative care context
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and collaborating with a variety of healthcare and community service providers
- Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate a range of services to meet client needs




- High-level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and manage complex cases
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Commitment to professional development and participation in AASW Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accreditation program (desirable)
