Employment Type: Contract Monday - Thursday
Hourly Rate: $34 per hour
Probation Period: 3 months
Additional Benefits: Fuel allowance if you're required to use your own vehicle
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking All-Rounder to assist in the overall operations of our short-term property management business. This role is hands-on and diverse, involving cleaning, property checks, maintenance, property audits and stock management. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and take pride in maintaining high standards, we want to hear from you!
This is a fast paced, ever-changing position where no two days are ever the same. You need to be willing and able to pivot and change direction when needed. You will be working by yourself so strong time management skills are a must.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning & Property Maintenance
- Complete a minimum of two cleans per day to ensure properties meet high cleanliness standards.
- Perform deep cleans as required.
- Conduct property checks, ensuring all areas are clean, tidy, and in top condition.
- Identify and document maintenance issues, creating a list for jobs outside your scope.
- Set up and prepare properties for short-term rentals.
- Assist with delisting properties when required.
Stock & Shed Duties
- Unpack and organize linen and rental supplies.
- Pick up and unpack stock deliveries.
- Conduct stocktakes and manage inventory levels.
Guest Communications
- Guest communications
Other Duties
- Perform reports on properties.
- Assist with shopping and collecting orders
- Audits
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
- Good communication skills for guest messaging and team coordination.
- Basic property maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks, including lifting and bending.
- Previous experience in a similar Hospitality & Tourism role, preferably within Housekeeping
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure efficient property turnaround
- Customer service-oriented attitude and ability to provide a warm welcome to our guests
