As we continue to grow and improve, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager for the Development of major road and bridge Infrastructure projects.
About the opportunity:
Main Roads is seeking a highly skilled and driven professional to lead the assessment and development of large-scale, complex metropolitan and regional improvement projects, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and the achievement of key performance outcomes.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, definition, and development of complex and/or high-risk road infrastructure projects. Your leadership will be critical to the successful implementation of major transport initiatives that underpin the future growth and connectivity of Western Australia.
The successful applicant will manage a broad range of key activities, including detailed traffic investigations, project and contract management, community engagement, resolution of complex stakeholder issues, facilitation of environmental and heritage approvals, financial management of project funds, and comprehensive risk assessments for road and bridge projects. Additionally, you will lead thorough investigations and contribute to strategic planning studies that will shape the long-term development of the State’s road network.
To excel in this position, you will need to demonstrate substantial experience in project and contract management, alongside proven expertise in the planning, design, and development of major road and/or bridge infrastructure projects. You will possess strong negotiation and facilitation skills, with the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
