Base pay range

A$90,000.00/yr - A$110,000.00/yr

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for sport, media, and building dynamic partnerships? Join the iconic Victoria Racing Club (VRC) as our New Business Development Executive and play a key role in driving revenue growth and securing impactful sponsorships and brand collaborations.

We’re on the hunt for a highly capable and collaborative New Business Development Executive to support and enhance our Commercial team that help power one of Melbourne’s most iconic institutions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in identifying, developing, and converting new commercial opportunities in the Australian sports sponsorship landscape. You’ll work with some of the most recognised brands in the country and contribute to the continued success of major racing events and entertainment experiences hosted at Flemington Racecourse.

Key Responsibilities





- Develop and manage a strong new business pipeline aligned to VRC’s strategic goals
- Prospect and engage potential partners using outreach tools and creative strategies
- Conduct meetings and calls with prospective clients to present tailored partnership solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design compelling commercial proposals
- Deliver revenue growth through new business acquisition and assist in renewals
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular reporting on pipeline health
- Represent VRC at key industry events and stay ahead of market trends

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Commercially savvy with at least 4 years’ experience in media/sports sales
- A confident communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Proactive, results-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment
- Skilled in generating leads,



managing sales pipelines, and closing deals
- Comfortable collaborating across teams and building strong relationships
- Passionate about sport, events, and bringing innovative ideas to life

You must hold a valid driver’s license and passport.
