Engage Abilities is looking for Support Workers for our SIL Homes (Campbelltown district), Community Participation all Sydney metro and Youth Support Worker for Blacktown ACA and CSS programs The role consists of:
SIL and CP Support Workers
- Supporting participants with a disability.
- Teaching and helping with everyday tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning and life skills.
- Supporting and monitoring their healthcare needs, including administering medication and getting to appointments.
- Helping them to access community facilities and be included in community groups.
- Building a rapport with participants and family members.
Youth Support Worker
- As a Youth Worker, you support children and young people who may have significant challenges and complex trauma.
- The shifts consist of supervising contact visits, in home supports, respite, transports and mentoring supports working with children and their families around the Blacktown area.
- 2 years' experience working with youth (paid youth worker, teacher, childcare educator, disability support worker, mentor, sports coach...)
- Your priority is to keep children and teenagers safe, ensure their needs are met and aid them in their development and implement goal focused supports to ensure that the support you are providing is in line with the goals for the young person or the family.
- The successful applicants will be required to work in accordance with our code of conduct,
relevant procedures and our policies.

- Has the ability to work within a team environment and independently.
- A driver's license with full comprehensive car insurance is required.
- Have previous work experience but willing to learn more.
- Have a First Aid certificate, WWC, Police check or be willing to obtain.
- Be vaccinated against Covid 19 in accordance with NSW and industry regulation.
